Bolting track rod onto steering rack
Bolting track rod onto steering rack
   
–  First adjust steering rack in steering box so that projection on left and right is identical (dimension -a-). Distance from shoulder in housing to steering rack face end is measured.
  V48-0397
–  Screw hexagon nuts onto steering rack to stop. Bolt track rods on until dimension -b- 70.5 mm is attained.
Distance from shoulder in housing to shoulder on ball joint is measured.
