Installing
Install in reverse order.
Securing vehicle to lifting platform
If the vehicle is not strapped down, there is a danger that the vehicle will slip off the lifting platform!
   
–  Remove plugs from longitudinal member -3- and draw in tensioning strap.
1 - Lifting platform arm
2 - Tensioning strap -T10038-; the vehicle must be strapped down on its left and right sides with the tensioning straps.

Bolts for transverse links may be tightened only when dimension -a- measured prior to assembly has been attained!
–  Turn wheel hub until a wheel bolt hole is uppermost.
–  Attach support -T10149- with a wheel bolt.
–  Raise wheel bearing housing using engine and gearbox jack until dimension -a- is attained.
  WARNING
t  Do not raise or lower vehicle when engine and gearbox jack is under vehicle.
t  Do not leave engine and gearbox jack under vehicle longer than necessary.
–  Tighten bolts for transverse link to specified torque.
Check camber and toe settings on wheel alignment unit following installation.

Torque settings: 
Transverse link to trailing arm
Use new bolts and nuts!
70 Nm + 90°
Transverse link to subframe
Use new bolts and nuts!
70 Nm + 90°
Drive shaft to final drive flange shaft40 Nm
