the splash guard under the engine (early type only)

the five nuts holding the steering gear to the sub-frame.
Note! Only applies to right-hand drive cars. Remove collision protection system nut A.
Remove the oil pipe brackets screws from the sub-frame at the front and rear edges
Position a mobile jack at the rear edge of the sub-frame
Remove:

on both sides, the four screws holding the sub-frame brackets to the bodywork

the two screws together with the brackets and washers.
Slacken off the front sub-frame screws approximately 10 - 15 mm (0.39 - 0.59 inch). Lower the rear edge of the frame. Ensure that the steering gear
screws are released from the frame
Note! Right-hand drive cars: Ensure that the collision protection system between the steering gear and the sub-frame does not press against the oil
pipes.
Remove:

the anti-roll bar from the control arms
