Tighten pipe connections to transmission

Reconnect transmission connectors and oxygen sensor lead.
20. Reconnect propeller shaft

Use 15 mm socket tool No. 999 5244, or equivalent.

Reassemble and tighten front coupling as per markings.
21. Install air preheater pipe
-
Lubricate O-ring with Vaseline.
22. Install front section of exhaust pipe
-
Tighten to:
10 mm 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.)
8 mm 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.)
NOTE:
-
Undo bolted joint after catalytic converter and retighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.)
-
This is necessary to prevent stresses in the system.
