Control Arm: Service and Repair
Lower Arm

Replacement 

1. Raise the rear of the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported. Remove the rear wheel.

2. Remove the control arm from the vehicle.

1 Remove the self-locking nut (A) from the knuckle bolt.

-

2 Remove the self-locking nut (B) from the rear suspension subframe.

-

3 Remove the control arm (C) from the vehicle.

3. Install the control arm in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

Tighten all mounting hardware to the specified torque values. Before installing the wheel, clean the mating surfaces on the brake disc and the
inside of the wheel.

Check the rear wheel alignment, and adjust it if necessary.
