Remove the knob from the recline adjuster lever by pulling it forward; do not bend the lever.

Pry the screw cap out of the recline cover, then remove the two screws and the cover.

Recline the seat fully by pulling back the recline adjuster lever. (This provides slack in the access cable so you can reattach it.)
6.
Hold the disconnected access cable 20 mm from its end with a pair of pliers. Reattach the end of the cable to the fork on the recliner pivot If you
need additional cable slack to reattach it, pull up the seat-back release lever.
7.
Move the seat-back upright by pulling up on the recline adjuster lever.
8.
Reinstall the recline cover, then reattach the knob to the recline adjuster lever.
