SRS Indicator Is On With DTC 31-1x or 31-2x
SYMPTOM
The SRS indicator is on, and DTC 31-1x (open in driver's airbag inflator) or DTC 31-2x (increased resistance in driver's airbag inflator) is stored.
NOTE:
The "x" digit at the end of each DTC can be any one of these: 0 thru 9, or A thru F.
PROBABLE CAUSE
The SRS wire harness under the driver's seat may be damaged by normal seat movement because it is not securely attached.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Depending on the result of your diagnosis, troubleshoot the SRS DTC, or replace the floor wire harness.
