5. Measure voltage between body ground and display unit connector A terminal No.8.
Is there battery voltage?
YES - Go to step 6.
NO - Check the No.5 (10A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box and recheck. If the fuse is OK, check for an open in the YEL/RED wire.
6. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
7. Check for continuity between display unit connector A terminal No.10 and body ground.
Is there continuity?
YES - Replace the display unit.
NO - Go to the display unit input test.
Fuel consumption displays does not work
1. Disconnect PCM connector A and display unit connector A.
2. Check for continuity between PCM connector A terminal No.11 and display unit connector A terminal No.19.
Is there continuity?
YES - Go to step 3.
NO - Check for an open in the wire between PCM connector A terminal No.11 and display unit connector A terminal No. 19.
3. Disconnect the fuel gauge sending unit connector.
