3. To bend the striker, fold down the left rear seat-back. Insert a pry bar through the striker loop, and brace it against the reinforced base of the striker.
Carefully bend the striker end up or down as needed.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 until the 2 mm feeler gauge fits between the striker and both surfaces of the latch.
