Fuel Door Release Lever: Service and Repair
Fuel Fill Door Opener Replacement
1. Remove these items:

Front seat, driver's side See: Seats/Service and Repair/Front Seat Removal/Installation

Front door sill, driver's side See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Scuff Plate/Service and Repair
2. Remove the bolts, then remove the fuel fill door opener (A) from the body.
3. Disconnect the fuel fill door opener cable (A), then remove the opener (B). Take care not to kink the cable.
4. Install the opener in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

Make sure the opener cable is connected properly.

Make sure the fuel fill door opens properly and locks securely.

Fix at the original position in the outer end of cable on the fuel fill door opener securely.
