5. Remove the rear license trim (B).
1. Close the tailgate, then pull the rear license trim out to detach the clips (C).
2. Remove the grommet (D) from the tailgate, then wrap the grommet with a packing tape to easily pull out the wire harness through the space
between the body and the tailgate lower trim (E).
6. Install the trim in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.

Make sure the rearview camera connector is plugged in properly.

Push the clips into place securely.
