4. Using a trim tool, pry out the notch (A) of the grip cover (B) to detach the hook (C), and then pull out the cover to release the remaining hooks
(D), then remove the cover and screw from the grip (E).
5. Remove the door panel (A) with as little bending as possible to avoid creasing or breaking it.
-1 Release the clips (B, C) that hold the door panel with a commercially available trim pad remover.
While holding the door panel away from the door, disconnect the door subharness connector (D) and the power mirror connector (E).
-3 While holding the door panel away from the door, remove the screws (F), then remove the inner handle (G) from the door panel.
NOTE: The inner handle cable (H) and the lock cable (I) are connected to the door panel. Do not pull the door panel up too far, or the inner handle cable
will be damaged.
6. Replace all of the door panel clips with new ones.
7. If necessary, remove the door glass inner weatherstrip (A) from the door by pulling it up.
