When installing the front up-down motor (A), adjust the gear (B) to the motor pinion (C) by slightly rotating the brake (D) with a 8 mm
hexagonal wrench.

Make sure the motor connector is plugged in properly.

Check the front seat up-down operation.

Put on gloves to protect your hands.

Take care not to tear the seam or damage the seat covers.
Removal
1. Remove the front seat. See: Service and Repair/Front Seat Removal/Installation
2. Remove these items:

Seat-back cover/pad See: Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Front Seat-back Cover Replacement

Seat cushion cover/pad See: Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Front Seat Cushion Cover Replacement
3. Remove the rear brake (A) and the rear brake bracket (B) as an assembly.
-1 Using a TORX T30 bit, remove the brake bracket mounting bolts (C).
-2 Using a TORX T40 bit, remove the brake bracket mounting bolt (D).
-3 Pull the brake bracket back to remove the gear (E) from the brake gear axle.
4. Remove the gear (A).
