5. Install the latch in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

Make sure the connector is plugged in properly and the opener cable is connected properly.

Make sure the trunk lid opens properly and locks securely.

Reinstall the manual trunk lid opener cable end (A) back to the position noted in step 4. Check the operation of the manual trunk lid opener, by
pulling on the rubber tab inside the pass through opening. If necessary, adjust the cable end position.
