3. Detach the clip and pivot the trunk lid handle (A) on the hooks (B), then remove the trunk lid handle.
4. Remove the trunk lid hinge cover (A).
1. Remove the clip (B), then pull back the trunk-side trim panel (C) as needed.
2. Remove the clip (D) and detach the clip (E).
3. Left side: Release the trunk lid opener cable (F) from the hooks (G) in the trunk lid hinge cover.
5. Install the trim in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

Align the marks (H) on the opener cable with the hook as shown.

When installing the trunk lid protectors, install them with the arrow marks toward the inside.

Replace the any damaged clips.
