Rear Door Latch: Service and Repair
Rear Door Latch Replacement
NOTE: Put on gloves to protect your hands.
1. Raise the glass fully.
2. Remove these items:

Door panel See: Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair/Rear Door Panel Removal/Installation

Inner handle See: Rear Door Panel/Service and Repair/Rear Door Panel Removal/Installation

Outer handle See: Rear Door Handle/Rear Door Exterior Handle/Service and Repair
3. Remove the plastic cover (A) as needed.
1. Disconnect the power door lock actuator connector (B), and detach the harness clip (C).
2. Remove the rear plug cap (D).
3. Pass the cables (E) through the slits (F) in the plastic cover.
NOTE: If the plastic cover is damaged or torn, replace it with a new one.
4. Remove the bolt (A) and the collar (B) from the rear lower channel (C). Pull away the door weatherstrip (D) as needed, and remove the screw (E).
