17. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, and watch the ACC indicator.
Does the ACC indicator (amber) come on and go off?
YES -
Go to step 24.
NO -
Go to the ACC system symptom troubleshooting for ACC indicator does not go off See: Cruise Control/Testing and Inspection/Symptom Related
Diagnostic Procedures/ACC Indicator Does Not Go Off.
18. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
19. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, and watch the active damper system indicator.
Does the active damper system indicator come on and go off?
YES -
Go to step 24.
NO -
Go to the active damper system symptom troubleshooting for an active damper system indicator that does not go off See: Steering and
Suspension/Suspension/Suspension Control ( Automatic - Electronic )/Testing and Inspection/Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures/Active Damper
System Indicator Does Not Go Off, and No DTCs Are Stored.
20. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
21. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, and watch the keyless access indicator.
Does the keyless access indicator stay on?
YES -
Go to the keyless access system general troubleshooting information See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Antitheft and Alarm Systems/Keyless
Entry/Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.
NO -
Go to step 24.
22. Do the gauge self-diagnostic function See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Instrument Cluster / Carrier/Testing and
Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.
23. Check the gauge display.
Is B-CAN------ERROR indicated?
YES -
Check for B-CAN system DTCs See: Information Bus/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Troubleshooting - B-CAN
System Diagnosis Test Mode 1 and Test Mode 2 (Without the HDS).
NO -
