CHECKS AND INSPECTIONS

Immerging the sensor in a suitable container full of water, check that the setting of the engine coolant temperature sensor is within the prescribed limits using a manometer and a Multimeter. If it is not within the prescribed limits replace the sensor.

FUEL VAPOUR FILTER

The filter element is composed of activated carbon enclosed in a plastic casing and absorbs the fuel vapours reaching it from the fuel tank.

A single-acting valve allows outside air to enter during vapour intake in order to clean the activated carbon.
