Removal/refitting (page 3 of 3)

• Operating from beneath the vehicle remove the previously loosened heat shielding.
• Lower the vehicle.
• Remove the relay box plastic bracket protection.
• Unscrew the screws securing the relay box bracket and power steering fluid reservoir support and move everything to one side after disconnecting the relay from the supporting bracket.

1. Remove the right-hand exhaust manifolds and the relative gaskets.

• Raise the vehicle.
• Disconnect the electrical connections from the starter motor.
• Unscrew the three screws securing the starter motor to the gearbox.

17.9 ÷ 22 Nm
1.8 ÷ 2.2 kgm

• Lower the vehicle and remove the starter motor through the engine compartment.
