There is a constant, loud noise coming from the area of the engine, which is only heard within a certain engine speed range

		Engine supports faulty	Bed in the fixings: loosen the bolts, centre them in their housings and tighten them to the recommended torque (see Assembly 1008A) End of diagnosis
		Flexible mountings faulty	Bed in the fixings: loosen the bolts, centre them in their housings and tighten them to the recommended torque (see Assembly 1008B) End of diagnosis
		Reaction rod faulty	Bed in the fixings: loosen the bolts, centre them in their housings and tighten them to the recommended torque (see Assembly 1008C) End of diagnosis
2	ENGINE EXHAUST CHECK Check the condition and the correct fixing of the engine exhaust pipe flexible supports	OK	Move onto step 3
		Support slack or damaged	Restore or replace the support (see Assembly 1076A) End of diagnosis
		Pipe, silencer or connector damaged	Replace the components (see Assembly 1076B) End of diagnosis
3	CHECK CORRECT OPERATION Check that the fault is no longer present	OK	End of diagnosis
