V05 Front door water leaks

After rain or washing, water enters the car in the region of one of the front doors

Step	Test procedure	Result	Action
1	DOOR RAIN GUTTER CHECK Check the door housing rain gutter. In particular, ascertain: that there is no dirt, leaves, etc. that the fitting is correct in the corner (the seal should not cover the special air inlet port)	OK	Move onto step 2
		Rain gutter dirty	Clean the rain gutter End of diagnosis
		Rain gutter fitting faulty	Refit the rain gutter correctly Op. 7055A14 End of diagnosis
2	CHECK DOOR COMPARTMENT SEAL Check the door seal In particular, check: absence of wrinkles in the seal condition of seal	OK	Move onto step 3
2		Faulty fitting of seal	Fit the sealing strip correctly Op. 7005A34 End of diagnosis
3	CHECK DOOR ALIGNMENT Check the door is properly fitted. In particular, ascertain: door - compartment correctly aligned seal correctly bonded to the door	OK	Move onto step 4
3		door incorrectly fitted	Refit the door properly Op. 7005A14 End of diagnosis
4	MOVING GLASS CHECK Check the moving glass seal. In particular, ascertain: that the glass closes correctly that the glass channel is correctly positioned the glass scraper is correctly positioned	OK	Move onto step 5
		Channel incorrectly positioned	Refit the channel properly Op. 7005D18 End of diagnosis
		Glass fitting faulty	Refit the window opening mechanism and the moving glass correctly Op. 7005D10 End of diagnosis
		Glass scraper incorrectly fitted	Refit the glass scraper correctly Op. 7005D26 End of diagnosis
5	CHECK DOOR DRAINAGE Check the drainage on the lower part of the doors. In particular, ascertain: that there is no dirt, leaves, etc.	OK	Move onto step 6
5		Dirt in drains	Clean the drains. If necessary refit correctly Op. 7005A46 End of diagnosis
6	CHECK CORRECT OPERATION Check that the fault is no longer present	OK	End of diagnosis
6		Fault persists	Incorrect selection of diagnostic procedure
