CLUTCH DRIVE CHECK

Check 2127K

2.0 JTS · Smart gearbox

the clutch catching often occurs when the engine is hot.

1. Connect the Examiner Plus or Smart diagnostic equipment.

2. Start the vehicle and place the gear lever in neutral

3. With the engine idling, read the clutch plate speed parameter value

4. If the clutch plate speed is above zero then the clutch is being driven

In active diagnosis, carry out the calibration of the clutch parameters through the ''clutch self-calibration enablement''.

Repeat points 2 to 4. If the fault does not occur, move on to point 5.

5. If the clutch is not catching, let the engine reach operating temperature and heat up the clutch (with the accelerator pedal pressed beyong halfway).

Repeat points 1 to 3

If the clutch plate speed is above zero then the clutch is being driven
