  1. Lower the complete suspension frame.
Suspension frame with part number 1.820.625.000 indicated

SHOCK ABSORBER

REMOVAL / REFITTING

  • Set the car on a lift and remove the wheel on the side concerned.
  1. Position a hydraulic jack with plastic plate under the spring carrier arm to lightly compress the spring.
  2. Remove the shock absorber upper fastening bolt.
  3. Remove the shock absorber lower fastening bolt.
  4. Remove the shock absorber.
Shock absorber with torque values 59÷72 Nm and 79÷98 Nm indicated

59 ÷ 72 Nm
6.0 ÷ 7.3 Kgm

79 ÷ 98 Nm
8.0 ÷ 10 Kgm

CHECKS AND INSPECTIONS

  • Check the conditions of the shock absorber for functionality and oil leaks; if necessary change the shock absorber.

COIL SPRING

REMOVAL / REFITTING

  • Set the car on a lift and remove the wheel on the side concerned.

NOTE: When removing the spring, a special end piece, to be made as illustrated, should be installed on the hydraulic jack.

  1. Piece of pipe

  4. Rest seat for spring carrier arm
