Removing
  Note
To remove, first remove pedal cluster / mounting bracket → Chapter.
  Note
Renew pivot pin if removed.
–  Remove pedal cluster / mounting bracket → Chapter.
   
–  Turn pivot pin anti-clockwise in direction indicated by -arrow-.
  Note
This will causes the lugs -arrows 1- on the pivot pin to break off. Renew pivot pin.
–  Pull out pivot pin.
–  Take brake pedal out of mounting bracket.
Installing
–  Before installing brake pedal, fit both bearing bushes in bearing in brake pedal.
  N46-10187
–  Fit brake pedal.
  Caution
Both bearing bushes -3 and 9- must be fitted in the bearing in the brake pedal to ensure that the pedal is seated securely in the mounting bracket.
–  Insert new pivot pin from left to right through mounting bracket and brake pedal.
  N46-10184
–  Turn pivot pin clockwise in direction indicated by -arrow- until lugs -arrows 2- make contact with mounting bracket.
–  Install pedal cluster / mounting bracket → Chapter.
  Caution
Make sure that the brakes work properly before the vehicle is driven on the road.
