General notes

The TV system is part of the MMI infotainment system.

The TV tuner -R78- is connected to the other components of the infotainment system via the MOST bus. The control unit 1 for information electronics -J794- is used for operation.

A so-called „hybrid“ tuner is fitted for receiving analogue and digital TV channels.

A TV card reader -R204- for receiving pay-TV channels is connected to the TV tuner -R78-.

Fault finding is performed via the „Guided Fault Finding“ → Vehicle diagnostic tester.

Aerial wire repairs → Electrical system; Rep. gr.97.
