Voltage at the fresh-air blower -V2-, actuation of the radiator fan -V7-, fresh-air or recirculated-air mode request

l  Deviation from the target voltage (in the vehicle system voltage range): max. 0.7 V

  Note
t  The “target voltage” indicates the difference in voltage which is meant to apply between the two outputs of the blower control unit -J126- for the fresh-air blower -V2-.
t  The “actual voltage” relates to the voltage applied to the output of the control unit for the fresh-air blower -J126-. Since the control unit for the fresh-air blower -J126- and the fresh-air blower -V2- are connected via wires, the actual voltage at the fresh-air blower -V2- cannot be measured.

3Actuation of the radiator fan -V7-
t  Display = 0
–  Activation for speeds 1 and 2 for the radiator fan -V7- is off
t  Display = 1
–  Actuation for speed 1 for the radiator fan -V7- is on
–  Actuation for speed 2 for the radiator fan -V7- is off
t  Display = 2
–  Actuation for speeds 1 and 2 for the radiator fan -V7- is on
 

  Note
t  The radiator fan -V7- is switched to speed 1 by the operating and display unit for air conditioner/Climatronic -E87- while there is no compressor shut-off criterion which prevents the air conditioner compressor regulating valve -N280-) from cutting in (e.g. the engine is not running or “Econ” mode has been selected).
t  The radiator fan -V7- is switched to speed 2 by the operating and display unit for air conditioner/Climatronic -E87- as soon as the pressure in the coolant circuit exceeds a specified value → Chapter.
t  However, the fan control unit -J293- only controls the radiator fan -V7- while the engine is running

t  The air conditioner is in recirculated-air mode so as to reach the required temperature in the passenger compartment as quickly as possible at a high ambient temperature (increased refrigeration capacity)
t  Recirculated-air mode is maintained until the target and actual temperatures in the passenger compartment have reached the specified temperature difference.
–  Fresh-air flap closed, recirculated-air flap open

t  The air conditioner has been switched off via the Off button on the operating and display unit for air conditioner/Climatronic -E87-
–  Fresh-air flap closed, recirculated-air flap open

  Note
t  If there is no request for recirculated-air mode, “0” can be displayed instead of “00”.
t  To clear misted windows as quickly as possible, recirculated-air mode is not possible in “defrost mode”.
t  All the numbers which are not listed (e.g. “10”, “11” etc. apply to recirculated-air requests which are currently not implemented in the Audi A2). → Audi A8, Air Conditioner; Repair group 01
