Removing and installing selector mechanism

Removing
  Caution
When disconnecting the battery there is a risk of serious damage to electronic components:
Observe the correct procedure for disconnecting the battery.
–  Disconnect the earth wire at the battery → Rep. gr.27.
–  Remove centre console → Rep. gr.68.
   
–  Unplug electrical connector -A-.
–  Remove bolts -arrows- and detach selector mechanism.
Installing
l  Tightening torque → Chapter
Installation is carried out in reverse sequence; note the following:
–  Install centre console → Rep. gr.68.
–  Observe correct procedure after connecting battery → Rep. gr.27.
–  Check selector mechanism → Anchor.
–  Check operation of ignition key withdrawal lock → Anchor.
–  Perform basic setting in the „vehicle self-diagnosis“ routine → Rep. gr.01.
