Very lightly coat seal - arrow - in cover using grease G 052 168 A1.

Install cover with new seal.
Rest of installation is performed in reverse order of removal.

Install steering gear.
After installing, basic setting for Steering Angle Sensor G85 must be performed using Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS
5051B.

Perform adaptation and basic setting for Steering Torque Sensor G269 using Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051B.

Perform vehicle alignment.
