Assembly overview

  • Bolt (2x)
    • ◆ Tightening torque 10 Nm.
  • Door handle
    • ◆ Removing and installing
  • Door lock
    • ◆ Removal:
    • ◆ Remove door trim

=> General Body Assembly, Interior; Repair group 70; Door trims

    • ‒ Door subframe removed.

    • ‒ Remove cover for door lock => Page 57-23.
    • ‒ Unclip retaining and operating rods
      .
    • ‒ Detach connecting hose from actuator for central locking system.
    • ‒ Unscrew bolts -1-.
    • ‒ Remove door lock and lock base plate -2-
    • ◆ Installation:
    • ‒ Install in reverse order.

  • Operating clip
    • ◆ Installing => Page 57-25.
  • Bowden cable for interior door handle.
    • ◆ Removal:
    • ‒ Door sub-frame removed.
    • ‒ Remove cover for door lock .
    • ‒ Release Bowden cable (shown released in magnified view), unclip downwards and disengage from door lock.
    • ◆ Installation:
    • ‒ Install in reverse order.
  • Lock base plate
