In vehicles with an operating and display unit -E87 with two displays

• ‒ Remove glove compartment.

=> Inner Body Assembly; Repair group 68

• ‒ → Remove 2 bolts -A-.
• ‒ Detach connector -C-.
• ‒ Detach suction hose -B- and remove blower in direction of arrow.

Notes:

• ◆ Check function (final control diagnosis).
• ◆ Check suction hose -B-. It must not be sealed and must be firmly attached to the temperature sensor connection piece.

In vehicles with an operating and display unit -E87 with one display

• ‒ Remove operating and display unit -E87 .
• ‒ → Remove bolts -A-.
• ‒ Remove Blower -V42 -B- from -E87.

Note:

Do not press motor -C- when installing blower -V42 but hold the blower at the housing.
