Removing
–  Remove driver's storage compartment → Rep. gr.68.
–  Turn brake light switch anti-clockwise 45° to remove.
  Note
The brake light switch is not fitted on all models
–  Separate brake pedal from brake servo → Chapter.
–  Unscrew hexagon bolt.
Installing
Installation is performed in reverse sequence; note the following:

Before installing, lubricate pivot points with polycarbamide grease -G 052 142 A2-.
   
–  → Chapter Hold ball head of push rod in front of mounting and push brake pedal towards brake servo so that ball head audibly locks into place.
–  Install brake light switch → Chapter.
  Note
The brake light switch is not fitted on all models
Tightening torque
  A47-0034
Component Nm
Brake pedal to mounting bracket25 → Remark

1)  Renew nuts
