Checking and replacing batteries in hand-held transmitter for auxiliary heater remote control

–  Carefully detach battery cover -A- from remote control -C-.
  Note
t  On insertion, pay attention to correct position of batteries (marked in battery compartment, both positive terminals have same connection - parallel connection).
t  Always replace both batteries -B-.
t  Only fit batteries -B- with specifications corresponding to original batteries (e.g. 12V high voltage special batteries of type 23). You can obtain these batteries e.g. from specialised dealers (e.g. Duracell MN21/23, Varta V23GA) or via the replacement parts programme → Electronic parts catalogue.
t  The remote control will not function properly if a battery has been fitted incorrectly and both batteries soon become discharged.
t  If remote control batteries -B- are discharged to such an extent that radio signal can no longer be transmitted with sufficient strength, indicator lamp does not light on pressing button.
