Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Torque wrench -V.A.G 1331-
  W00-0427
t  Drip tray for workshop hoist -VAS 6208-

The cover -2- and the dished spring -5- are removed together when removing the control unit -1-. The pressure sensor -4- and the valve -3- are removed separately.
–  Switch off ignition.
  N39-10093
–  Unplug connectors -1- and -2- at top of control unit.
–  Position drip tray under final drive.

–  Unscrew bolts -arrows-.
Make sure that no parts drop to the ground when removing the control unit.
–  Carefully detach control unit -A-.

–  Carefully take hold of control valve for degree of clutch opening -N373--A- at metal housing -arrow- using pliers, and pull out.
–  Remove pressure sensor -B-.

–  Remove oil seal for control valve for degree of clutch opening -N373--arrow- from housing.
