General notes   WARNING Disconnect the battery earth cable before working on the electrical system. On vehicles fitted with telematics system, activate the service mode for the telephone/telematics control unit -J526- before disconnecting battery -A- → Chapter. When re-connecting battery -A-, always adhere to correct sequence for connecting and disconnecting battery -A- → Electrical System; Rep. Gr.27. Deactivate the service mode for telephone/telematics control unit -J526- → Chapter. Telephone systems t  Telephone (fixed installation) t  Phone pre-installation t  Pre-fitted components for mobile phone installation This enables all mobile telephones -R152- approved by Audi with Bluetooth interface to be operated with the phone pre-installation with aerial for Bluetooth -R54-. Notes on operation and approved types of mobile phones:    www.audi.de/telefon It is not possible to connect up other devices via Bluetooth, for example headset, laptop or PDA. Fault finding is performed via the “Guided Fault Finding” → Vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051. Aerial wire repairs → Electrical system; Rep. Gr.97.
