Important
Before installing the gearbox, check the installed depth of the torque converter => Page32-11.

Notes:

  • ◆ Observe rules for cleanliness when working on the automatic gearbox .
  • ◆ General repair instructions => Page 00-22.
  • ◆ Lubricate seals lightly with ATF. Other lubricants cause malfunctions in the gearbox hydraulics.
  • ◆ There are two different versions of torque converters. Allocation.
  • ◆ If a new type of torque converter with integrated needle bearing is fitted in a gearbox with sleeve bearing in the turbine shaft, the sleeve bearing must be removed=>Page32-5.
