1 - Circlip
q   Remove carefully using small screwdriver or pointed-nose pliers (paying particular attention to pulley)
q   Detaching/attaching → Chapter
q   As of Model Year 2006, circlips are to be gradually introduced which are provided with a vulcanised rubber disc to replace the plastic disc which may be bonded on at present (not applicable to all compressors) → Chapter
2 - Drive plate
q   Screwed to compressor drive shaft
q   Different versions → Parts List
q   With overload safeguard, tripped in the event of excessive torque (e.g. stiff compressor) and pulley just free-wheels without driving compressor
q   Detaching/attaching → Chapter
q   Tightening torque 35 Nm
q   A plastic disc may have been affixed depending on production period → Chapter.
3 - Circlip
q   Replace
q   Ensure correct positioning (flat side facing compressor)
q   Removing and installing → Chapter
4 - Spacer
q   Dimensions: 17.5 x 10 x 3 mm
5 - Rubber element
q   6x, ensure correct installation → Chapter
q   Decouples pulley from compressor drive shaft, damps vibration and noise
q   On installation, moisten rubber elements slightly with tyre assembly paste or soap solution for example to provide lubrication
6 - Pulley
q   Pulley is made of plastic, is sensitive to impact and should be treated with extreme care.

q   Detaching/attaching → Chapter
7 - Compressor
q   Different models are fitted depending on engine and country version → Parts List
q   Clean flange of compressor before fitting pulley
