Removing and installing flywheel - vehicles with multitronic gearbox
Removing and installing flywheel - vehicles with multitronic gearbox
Special tools and workshop equipment required
   
t  Counterhold tool -10-201-
  W00-0254
Removing
l  Engine or gearbox removed.
–  Remove the damper unit -arrow- → multitronic gearbox 01J, front-wheel drive; Rep. gr.13.
  A13-0821
–  Mark installation position of flywheel -arrow- on crankshaft.
–  Attach counterhold tool -10-201- in order to loosen bolts.
–  Unbolt flywheel.
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
–  Use new securing bolts.
–  Reverse position of counterhold tool -10-201- in order to tighten bolts.
–  Install damper unit → multitronic gearbox 01J, front-wheel drive; Rep. gr.13.
Tightening torque
  A13-0822

Flywheel to crankshaft 
Bolt length 22.5 mm60 + 90° → Remark → Remark

1)  90° equals a 1/4 turn.
2)  Renew bolts.
