Removing and installing sun blind –  Sun blind fully open. –  Frame and panel »2« removed.

–  Secure shaft in roller for sun blind -1- to prevent it from unwinding and locate with piece of wire -2-.

–  Press retaining tab back with screwdriver and lift out sun blind.

–  Press catch -arrow- downwards and slide tension bow towards left into cable actuator. –  On the opposite side, pull tension bow off actuator and pull off piping to the side.

–  Use a small screwdriver to press clip on actuator to the side (as shown); this will release the fabric. –  Pull sun blind fabric out of frame towards rear and remove together with sleeve.

–  Install in reverse order, making sure that reinforcement at side engages in guide lugs -1- on frame and is positioned beneath guide lug -2-. –  Pull off locking pin on sun blind roller only after it has been inserted in frame.   Note t  If the shaft in the sun blind roller has unwound, the pre-tension can be re-established as follows. t  Before pre-tensioning the sun blind, tap the roller lightly to make sure that the spring is evenly slack.

–  Turn shaft of unwound sun blind -1- until slight resistance is noticeable. –  Then turn shaft at end piece -arrow- 12 turns while holding roller in place and secure with locking pin -2- or wire to prevent it from unwinding. –  Sun blind can now be reinstalled.
