Note
Clean the brake calipers thoroughly (grease-free) before inserting new brake pads. It is particularly important to ensure that contact surfaces for brake pads are clean. |

q | The retaining pins for the brake pads in the brake carrier must NOT be slackened |

q | If assembly work is required, do not leave caliper hanging from brake hose but secure it to body with wire |

q | With the exception of „Removing and installing brake pads“ → Chapter, „Servicing front brake caliper“ and renewing guide pins, no repairs may be performed on the brake caliper |
q | Do not twist hose when fitting |
