Removing and installing air flow flap control motorV71 > < Dismantling and assembling air intake box of air conditioning unit

Detaching air intake housing from air intake box
Detaching air intake housing from air intake box
Removing
–  Switch off the ignition.
–  Remove the air intake box → Chapter.
   
–  Release the fasteners -A- and detach the air intake housing -B- from the air intake box -C-.
Installing
Install in reverse order; paying attention to the following:
–  Insert the air intake housing -B- in the mounts -C- at the air intake box -C- and assemble the two components.
  Note
If one of the retainer tabs -A- breaks off or is no longer strong enough, the two components can also be fastened together with bolts -D-.
–  Re-install all the parts removed in reverse order.
–  Perform air conditioner basic setting and final control diagnosis → "Guided fault-finding" function of vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051.
–  Interrogate the event recorder of the operating and display unit, Climatronic control unit -J255- and erase any faults displayed → "Guided fault-finding" function of vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051.
