Removing knock sensor 1G61 > < Ignition system - exploded view

Removing and installing ignition coils with output stages
Removing and installing ignition coils with output stages
Removing:
–  Remove engine cover.
   
–  Detach electrical connector -1- for Lambda probe -G39- from retainer.
–  Release connectors and unplug all connectors from the ignition coils at the same time.
–  Unscrew bolt of ignition coil to be removed.
–  Carefully lift out ignition coil.
Installing
–  Press ignition coils onto spark plugs by hand with uniform pressure (do not use any tools).
–  Secure ignition coils.
l  Tightening torque: → Chapter „Ignition system - exploded view“
