Timing Belt: Diagrams

Camshaft sprocket bolt.
^

Torque to 30Nm (22 ft lb) plus an additional 1/2 turn (180°).

Camshaft locking plate.
^

Side with inscribed lettering always faces camshaft.

Large bore in side is used to correctly position camshafts.

Camshaft sprocket.
^

Tighten camshaft sprockets after toothed belt tension is adjusted.

Toothed belt tensioner.
^

Torque bolt to 45 Nm (33 ft lb).

Toothed belt.

Upper toothed belt covers.

Lower toothed belt cover.
^

Torque bolts to 10 Nm (7 ft lb).

Idler pulley.
^

Torque bolt to 25 Nm (18 ft lb).
