Remove air duct -1- from transmission.
^
Remove sound insulation -2- below engine/transmission.
^
Remove heat shield -3- for driveshaft.
^
Unbolt driveshaft 4- at transmission and tie up or support.
^
Unbolt heat shield -I above driveshaft and push to rear.
^
Unscrew bolts -1- and -2- at rear of subframe on both sides of vehicle.
^
Remove supports for subframe -A-.
^
Maneuver jack V.A.G 1383 A with transmission support 3282 under transmission.
^
Place both front supports 3282/52 at oil pan for transmission.
^
Insert third support 3282/48 in hole at rear of transmission housing.
