Right Side Vent Motor V300, Removing and Installing

Right Side Vent Motor V300, Removing And Installing 

NOTE: 

-

Installed only in vehicles with "Comfort" version A/C system

-

On vehicles with "Basic" version A/C system, flaps for left and right side vents as well as flaps for left and right center vents are operated by Left
Side Vent Motor V299 (left and right flaps are connected to each other via the shaft respectively, both shafts are connected to a lever).

Removing 

-

Remove retaining plate - D - with Right Center Vent Motor V111 and Right Side Vent Motor V300.

-

Mark the control motors if necessary (versions vary Parts Catalog).

-

Remove bolts - C - from Right Side Vent Motor V300 - B -, remove motor.

Installing 

Remove control motor on retaining plate.

-

Install retaining plate - D - with Right Center Vent Motor V111 and Right Side Vent Motor V300.

NOTE:  Check the lever position of the control motors before installing retaining plate, the retaining plate can only be installed correctly when it
is located in the service position.

-

Install the removed components again in reverse order.

-

Check DTC memory of front A/C control head Climatronic Control Module J255 and erase DTCs displayed if necessary. Vehicle Diagnosis,
Testing and Information System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding" function.

-

Perform basic setting (and output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) if necessary) on the A/C system. Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information
System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding" function.
