Right B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-Off Flap Motor V211, Removing and Installing

Right B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-Off Flap Motor V211, Removing And Installing 

NOTE:  With Right B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-Off Flap Motor Position Sensor G328

Removing 

-

Switch ignition off

-

Remove right front seat (front passengers seat) completely with lower seat frame.

-

Carefully fold rear floor carpet in area of center console aside.

-

Remove bolts - A -.

-

Disconnect electrical connection from Right B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-Off Flap Motor V211 - B - and remove control motor - C - with cover - D -.

-

Disengage connecting rod - E - from control motor lever - F -.

Installing 

-

Check that connecting rod - E - is installed on proper side.

-

Install the removed components again in reverse order.

-

Check DTC memory of front A/C control head Climatronic Control Module J255 and of Rear A/C Control Head (Climatronic) E265 and erase
DTCs displayed if necessary. Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding" function.

-

Perform basic setting (and output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) if necessary) on the A/C system. Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information
System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding" function.
