Left Footwell Flap Motor - "Comfort" Version

‹› Installed only in vehicles with "Comfort" version A/C system
‹› On vehicles with "Basic" version front A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255), left and right footwell flaps are operated by the Left
Footwell Flap Motor (V108) (both left and right flaps are connected to each other via a shaft, motor is installed at right on heating & A/C unit).

‹› Left Footwell Flap Motor Position Sensor (G139) is installed in Left Footwell Flap Motor (V108).
Removing

Remove retaining plate - C - with control motors (V108) and (V158) => [ Retaining Plate with Left Footwell Flap Motor and Left Temperature
Flap Motor ] See: Retaining Plate with Left Footwell Flap Motor and Left Temperature Flap Motor.

Mark the control motors if necessary (versions vary).

Remove bolts - D - from Left Footwell Flap Motor (V108) - A - and remove motor.
Installing
Remove control motor on retaining plate.

Install retaining plate - C - with control motors (V108) and (V158) => [ Retaining Plate with Left Footwell Flap Motor and Left Temperature Flap
Motor ] See: Retaining Plate with Left Footwell Flap Motor and Left Temperature Flap Motor.
‹› Check the lever position of the control motors before installing retaining plate, the retaining plate can only be installed correctly when it is located

Install the removed components again in reverse order.

Check DTC memory of front A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255) and erase DTCs displayed if necessary. => Vehicle Diagnosis,
Testing and Information System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding" function.

Perform basic setting (and output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) if necessary) on the A/C system.
