Right B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-Off Flap Motor

‹› With Right B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-Off Flap Motor Position Sensor (G328)

Removing

-

Switch ignition off

-

Remove right front seat (front passenger's seat) completely with lower seat frame. 

-

Carefully fold rear floor carpet in area of center console aside.

-

Remove bolts - A -.

-

Disconnect electrical connection from Right B-Pillar/Footwell Shut-Off Flap Motor (V211) - B - and remove control motor - C - with cover - D -.

-

Disengage connecting rod - E - from control motor lever - F -.

Installing

-

Check that connecting rod - E - is installed on proper side.

-

Install the removed components again in reverse order.

-

Check DTC memory of front A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255) and of Rear A/C Control Head (Climatronic) (E265) and erase
DTCs displayed if necessary. => Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding" function.

-

Perform basic setting (and output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) if necessary) on the A/C system. => Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information
System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding" function.
