‹› Installed only in vehicles with "Comfort" version A/C system
‹› On vehicles with "Basic" version A/C system, flaps for left and right side vents as well as flaps for left and right center vents are operated by Left
Side Vent Motor (V299) (left and right flaps are connected to each other via the shaft respectively, both shafts are connected to a lever) => [ Air

‹› Right Center Vent Motor Position Sensor (G137) is installed in Right Center Vent Motor (V111).
‹› On vehicles with right-side steering, Defroster Flap Motor (V107) => [ Defroster Flap Motor ] See: Defroster Flap Motor is also fastened to this
retaining plate (different version of retaining plate).
Removing

Remove retaining plate - D - with control motors (V111) and (V300) => [ Retaining Plate with Control Motors ] See: Retaining Plate with Control
Motors.

Mark the control motors if necessary (versions vary).

Remove bolts - C - from Right Center Vent Motor (V111) - A -, remove motor.
Installing
Remove control motor on retaining plate.

Install retaining plate - D - with control motors (V111) and (V300) => [ Retaining Plate with Control Motors ] See: Retaining Plate with Control
Motors.
‹› Check the lever position of the control motors before installing retaining plate, the retaining plate can only be installed correctly when it is located
in the service position => [ Retaining Plate with Control Motors ] See: Retaining Plate with Control Motors.

Install the removed components again in reverse order.

Check DTC memory of front A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255) and erase DTCs displayed if necessary. => Vehicle Diagnosis,
Testing and Information System VAS 5051 in "Guided Fault Finding" function.

Perform basic setting (and output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) if necessary) on the A/C system.
