Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor

‹› Installed only in vehicles with "Comfort" version A/C system

Removing

-

Remove instrument panel trim under glove compartment. 

-

Rotate Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor (G89) - A - in direction of arrow approx. 90°. 

-

Disconnect harness connector - B - from Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor (G89).

-

Remove Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor (G89) from housing.

Installing

-

Check seal - C - for damage and proper fit on Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor (G89).

Insert Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor (G89) into mount - D -

-

Install the remaining removed components again in reverse order. 

-

Check DTC memory of A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255) and erase malfunctions displayed if necessary.
