Blower Motor: Service and Repair
Rear Fresh Air Blower

Rear Fresh Air Blower

CAUTION!
Do not grasp fan wheel of Rear Fresh Air Blower (V80), force against the fan wheel or shifting the balancing weights fastened to fan
wheel may cause imbalance and then problems during operation. 

Removing

-

Switch ignition off

-

Bring rear heating & A/C unit into service position => [ Rear Heating and A/C Unit, Service Position ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Rear Heating and A/C Unit, Service Position

-

Disconnect electrical connection - 1 - from Rear Fresh Air Blower (V80).

-

Gently lift tab - 2 - and rotate Rear Fresh Air Blower (V80) in - direction of arrow -. 

-

Remove Rear Fresh Air Blower (V80) from heating & A/C unit

Installing

-

Install the removed components again in reverse order.

-

Check DTC memory of front A/C control head Climatronic Control Module (J255) and of Rear A/C Control Head (Climatronic) (E265) and erase
DTCs displayed if necessary.

-

Perform basic setting (and output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM) if necessary) on the A/C system.
